A CHANNEL WITHOUT A CONSCIENCE.

This is perhaps the only purpose-built channel, designed exclusively to discharge  raw  sewage of a conscienceless elite directly into the bosom of the sea, destroying its marine life, spreading disease, choking the harbour and polluting the beach.     The Sindh Chief Minister, the DG Sindh Environment Protection Agency, the Executive Officer of the Cantonment Board, the Administrator DHA and the President CBC whose own daily output also adds flavour to this gigantic illegal sewer,  in all probability, live within 5 miles radius of the crime location. They well know that they are personally responsible for allowing and enabling this destruction.  They  also know that in any other country, they would be promptly shifted to cells that protect the inmates with iron bars.  But here they would do nothing, but hold seminars in 5 star hotels and blame “climate change and the rest of the world“ – a scam that was deployed so successfully to explain the recent catastrophic deluge.

Let us not forget, that the gentlemen mentioned above are directly responsible for this crime against nature and for making a septic tank out of the sea and the beach.   They prosper because the citizens do not understand that discharging raw sewage into sea is a serious environmental crime. They also prosper because the citizens have failed to hold them accountable.   Is it not time to reverse this trend and divert  this conscienceless channel to feed into the sanitised living rooms of those responsible to prevent this pollution?
